At Schaufler Fischer Group, we have been designing and manufacturing highly productive molds for the most demanding die-cast and CFRP parts for over 60 years, delivering them to customers worldwide. QUALITY ASSURANCE

Quality assurance

Before testing quality, we ensure its production. Our contour parts are finished using state-of-the-art 5-axis machining centers and the latest EDM technology. We measure important features on the machine for checking purposes and also fully optically measure our graphite electrodes before using them on our contour parts.

Each finished contour part undergoes 100% measurement using the following equipment:

Temperature-controlled CMM room
Optical measuring system (Laser scanner)

In our daily ‘Quality’ shop floor meeting, we evaluate all deviations and regularly analyze their causes to derive measures for process optimization. Upon request, we can also provide our customers with measurement reports for cast parts in accordance with VDA 2.

Certified DIN EN ISO 9001

Schaufler Tooling has been certified according to DIN ISO 9001 since 1995, and from 2008 to 06/2018 according to DIN ISO 9001:2008. In June 2018, Schaufler Tooling was successfully certified for the first time according to the new version DIN ISO 9001:2015. Certified according to DIN EN ISO 9001:2015

In December 2022, Schaufler Tooling was successfully certified according to DIN ISO 14001:2015.

In May 2023, Schaufler Tooling received recognition for its outstanding performance by being awarded the “Gnutti Carlo Supplier Recognition 2022”.

Finalist in the “2016 Supplier of the Year” awards from Fiat Chrysler Automobiles in the “Capital Equipment Quality” category.

2014

3rd prize in the aluminum die-casting competition BMW motorcycle crankcase for a new generation of water-cooled boxer engines, BMW AG, Landshut plant.

2012

1st prize in the aluminum die-casting competition for a longitudinal member in the Audi A8 for DGS Druckguss Systeme AG, Switzerland.

2004

Awarded “Best Cast Metal Component” by the British Cast Metal Federation: instrument carrier from Meridian Technologies UK.

2004

1st prize for Schaufler Tooling in the aluminum die-casting competition for an innovative engine block for Hatz Diesel GmbH & Co. KG.

THERM Engineering LLC

The US development company from Grand Rapids (Michigan, USA) has developed a system for monitoring and controlling the heat balance of die-casting molds. The patented system optimizes the heat balance of the die-casting mold and thus reduces waste and cycle times. We have been using the methodology for calculating and designing temperature control channels in the mold, also developed by our partner, very successfully for several years. www.dietherm.com
