Together with our group locations in Laichingen, Germany and Haiyan (China), we form a unique production network. This enables us to develop and build approximately 100 molds annually for the most demanding die-cast parts for powertrain and vehicle structures. We are also pioneers in the design, development, and manufacture of giga-molds in the latest segment of mega/giga casting at all three locations.

Innovations are only worth something if they are marketable.

Our innovations are based on the challenges our customers face every day during setup, casting, and mold maintenance. Why do leaks keep occurring? Why do contoured parts crack? Why do limescale and rust clog cooling holes? Why do highly stressed surfaces develop heat cracks so quickly? Why does replacing a contoured part take so long? These and other questions drive us every day to search for better solutions. We have already successfully established some of these solutions on the market, such as the Schaufler centering and locking solution or leak-free shrink plugs, and we are currently working diligently on others. There is still a lot to do to come close to our vision of a trouble-free mold that supports the shortest possible cycle time and 100% OK parts.
